XAL 3.55.1 and SQL 2005 / Logon only with Username in UPPERCASE
Fri, 22 Feb 2008 05:49:02 -080
Hi Forum,

I just move one of my clients from 3.55.1 / SQL 2000 to 3.55.1 SQL 2005.
Everything went fine.

However, on (first) logon XAL tries to log on with capital user name and
capital pwd only, i.e
USER
PASSWORD.

In SQl 2005 the user / password had to be renamed to USER / PASSWORD to
enable XAL to log on.

Is there any way to force XAL to submit the username / pwd as provided
instead of capitalizing it?

Best Regards

Wolfgang

Hello axconsultant,

As far as I can see, password stored by SQL-Logon.XAL is case sensivive.
Also start up parameter -zp<password> is case sensitive.
