Hello James,
Getting codes for Native kernel should be enough.
You should be able to reuse a copy of the entire application by recompiling
CompileObjects.XAL as first step and then recompiling the entire application
as next step.

| SQL to Native |

Can anyone confirm to me that to move a customer from SQL kernel to native
kernel that I just need to buy a native kernel for their current license?
(They are valid on AEP)
In this part of the world noone in MS licensing has much experience with XAL
so I need to be sure before telling the customer the cost etc
Is just buying the native kernel is not enough what do I need to do?
The customer just wants to keep the system for audit purposes and its a 2.7
so they dont want to have to buy/build new SQL machine just for this (their
DB is less than 500MB) so I have proposed switching to native and
export/import of data. This way they can burn the whole appl to a CD and
ahve ti ready to run at any time etc
Thanks
James
