| Batch Path for batch jobs |

Within geeneral/adjustment/user configuration/application there is a field
where you can enter where you want the batch jobs to be put, so that when the
execution is run it picks these up.
A customer within windows version of xal, has created a folder called batch
within the XAL application folder and placing this as the batch path i.e.
z:\batch\ where Z is where the xal application is held.
However when they run a batch job the file is getting saved to the root
directory i.e. the Z drive and not in the batch folder. Any ideas why this
would occurr? Seems to be ok when run in dos version.

Hi, Alan,
on my PC, I had no problems sending the batch files to a folder on the
network. So I can only guess, what might be the reason. I imagine the
following cases:
- drive mapping is not correct
- the user does not have the right to access the batch path
- the XAL kernel is outdated
If all these possibilities do not apply, I kindly ask you to send a service
request to the XAL support team
Kind regards
