The termination of Microsoft XAL is still january 31 2009
Sun, 9 Mar 2008 12:04:00 -0700
THINGS TO REMEMBER:

January 31st 2009
- The support ends
- New sales ends
- The migration offerings ends

We are offering migration tools for AX and NAV:
-	AX
https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource/downloads/migrationtools/migrationxal2ax
apta.htm?printpage=false
-	NAV
https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource/worldwide/danmark/solutions/navision/mig
rationtool.htm?printpage=false

And the migration rules:

1.	If a customer is on an enhancement plan, the customers will receive a
credit equivalent to 100% of their Protected List Price
(based off the Protected List Price of their last Enhancement Plan) for the
modules and users the Customer has licensed
2.	If a customer is not on an enhancement plan, the customers will receive a
credit equivalent to 50% of their Protected List Price
(based off the Protected List Price of their last Enhancement Plan) for the
modules and users the Customer has licensed

Ole

How can I determine which licences are being transferred to AX and what the
AX licenses would cost me?

We are on latest Version and on enhancement plan.

Hi Wolfgang
Your XAL partner can tell you the size of the XAL paied value - (for this
you get 100% buyback, beeing on enhancement) and with the BREP it is a matter
of( among other) how many users you need for AX. but all this - I am sure -
your partner can help. He knows you and he can guide you.
