Obscure one this.
There is a .WIN file editor but it was never finished. You should
without question take a backup of the .WIN files before you attempt to
make any changes.
1. Go into Setup / Keys and Toolbar from the drop-down menus
2. Press Ctrl+Alt+S
This will open up the .WIN editor.
If you have any open forms when in here then it'll probably crash out
on you. And it might still crash out after each change, but it will
complete the edit all the same.
You can also use this to create separate .WIN files and have these in
different sub-folders. I once set up a client with two "divisions"
where one division wanted a pastel yellow background colour to their
forms and the other wanted a pale green background colour to their
forms - unusual request but you know what they say about the customer
always being right :)
Hope that helps

Dear John
I have tried to use it, but the "tool" will not chance the Font size
or
the Font that XAL use :(
But thanks for the advise, ot would have been nice, if "they" had
finished
it...

Hello Jesper,
Starting XAL 3.5 XAL uses default Windows fonts based on the current theme.
These fonts cannot be changed by the mentioned editor - only certain colors
can be changed.
However in XAL kernel 3.50.1 a startup parameter -HF was introduced to allow
previous functionality.
From XAL 3.50.1 kernel newsletter fixlist:
Disable Default
Windows Fonts
New start-up parameter "-HF" introduced facilitating that font
size and -colours can be controlled by F800256.win,
F80016.win, F640256.win, F64016.win, F1024256.win and
F102416.win corresponding to pre XAL 3.5 functionality.
As this feature relies on unsupported tool for setting up font
sizes and -colours, it will not be further documented.
