| No new sales or no new licences for existing customer? |

Has it been confirmed 100% that there will be no new licences issued
to existing customer post 31 January 2009?
Does this mean that Microsoft will issue existing clients with a 64GB
licence code?
How does the annual subscription for Axapta compare to XAL? Has it
been confirmed that if you take the current offer to upgrade from XAL
to Axapta and obtain Axapta licence codes, then pay your upgrade
subscription, this will entitle you to a free upgrade to Dynamix when
it eventually appears?
Thanks in advance

Hi John
To your questions below:
Ad1 & 2
I can confirm that no new licenses can be issued after January 31st 2009.
But for existing customers on enhancement you can still buy additional
modules, users, database etc.
Ad3
The subscription fee for Dynamics™ AX is 16%, 14% if a customer chooses a
three year subscription (Microsoft XAL 12%). And in general paying the
subscription fee gives the customer access to Customer Source
https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/ where you find additional
information, online training etc. Paying subscription always entitle the
customer to upgrade to newest version or to migrate to another Dynamics ERP
product.
This is the migration policy and offerings for our current Microsoft XAL
customers:
January 31st 2009
- The support ends
- New sales ends
- The migration offering ends for customers without an enhancement plan.
We are offering migration tools for AX and NAV via Partners.
And the migration rules:
1. If a customer is on an enhancement plan, the customers will receive a
credit equivalent to 100% of their Protected List Price
(based off the Protected List Price of their last Enhancement Plan) for the
modules and users the Customer has licensed
2. If a customer is not on an enhancement plan, the customers will receive a
credit equivalent to 50% of their Protected List Price
(based off the Protected List Price of their last Enhancement Plan) for the
modules and users the Customer has licensed
