When attempting to install AVG Free Edition 7.0 Build 371 on Vista CTP Build
5270. I get an error message near the end of install that says:

Local machine: installation failed
    Installation:
Error: Action failed for registry key
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\piffile\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers: creating registry
key....
            Access is denied. (5)

Looks to be the same issue. HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\piffile\shellex does exist, so
it appears that AVG is trying to create the ContextMenuHandlers subkey. I have
noticed when testing another applications that the same problem occurs.

Regardless, I have bugged this problem and hopefully it will be addressed
soon.

If you read the other posts it should be resolved in future builds of the o/s
that will be supplied by microsoft.

I did read the other posts and I have no doubt that it will be fixed. My issue
is that I have seen this same issue with other applications, so it is not just
an AVG issue.

I am a little disappointed that the problem occured in 5231 and almost 40 builds
later it has not been fixed. The cool thing when I worked at MS is that when you
had a bug and it was fixed, the dev would post in the bug what build it would be
fixed in.

Oh well...I am sure we will see it in the next CTP build, which is supposed to
come out, I think, in February.
