| FBI goes to Black Hat |

These kinds of articles fascinate me because they show things are changing
because of the web...
This article from MSNBC, FBI calls for hacker help, says that 1 in 10 Black Hat
attendees are now from law enforcement, trying to solve cybercrime by going
where the information is.
I'm glad the government is being smart and asking for help from the people who
really know this stuff, but in a way it also reminds me of Terri's
"Internet tubes" post a couple of weeks back. :)

I couldn't agree more. Let hackers at the software. That's the only way that
software can truly be secure. After all, it's nice to see Microsoft previewing
Vista and IE7 at Black Hat, too. Although I hope it doesn't become too
commercialized, now that people are realizing the value of hackers today.

I wish you guys would just stop with the 'internet tubes' stuff, OK?
The knowledgeable gentleman from Alaska was just trying to confuse enlighten us
with his ignorance brilliance.
I, for one, am proud that our elected officials take the time to know what
they're talking about before looking like imbeciles.
