Today pane empty

Today pane empty
Sun, 06 Apr 2008 11:16:26 +020
Hi,

I installed the new O.8 version, and for some reason the today pane is
pretty empty now. There is no date selected (I can get the little
calander to pop up, but even if I manually click on today there, it
doesn't get it).

SO, there's no date displayed in the panel and consquently also no
upcoming events.

Todo list works fine though, probably there's some problem with the date
then? Anyone else had that?

I tried throwing away lightning and reïnstalling, but no success.

Hope someone can help me,

Hi, what Thunderbird version and OS do you use? Do you use other
extensions or themes that might break Lightning? If yes I'd like you
to disable them and switch to default theme to test if the issue
still exists. Please also check the Error Console if there are error

I used the basic theme and it worked! I had already forgotten it wasn't
the default theme, but I checked and lo, Lightning performed as

I encountered the same issue yesterday (5/04/08). It followed updating
v0.8 to the latest nightly (04/04). I'm using Thunderbird 2.0.0.12.
Today all seems well. Haven't yet updated the nightly version but can
see events in the Today pane. Also, if I go back to yesterday's date the
events are there again. I'm using the Mostly Crystal (v2.0.0.7) theme.
Mysterious!!!

If it happens again, try switching to the default theme. We have heard
several reports of incompatibilities with 3rd party themes.
