Port scanning from mozilla.com
Wed, 27 Dec 2006 14:02:15 +010
Hi,

Someone in es.comp.os.linux.* spanish newsgroup [1] has detected some
port scanning attempts in his firewall after upgrading to SeaMonkey
1.0.7 and installing some extensions. The originating IPs were:

63.245.208.17
63.245.208.14
63.245.208.16
63.245.208.18
63.245.208.13
63.245.208.15
63.245.208.19
63.245.208.20

I looked it up the DNS name for some of these IPs and all have a
similar name to:

route-optimization-probe-gb11.sj.mozilla.com

The port scanning repeated some time after that. Does anyone know what
can be causing this?

TIA
