Bug? New, unread messages not shown until folder is selected

Bug? New, unread messages not shown until folder is selected
Fri, 11 Apr 2008 20:53:35 +020
I'm using TB 2.0.0.12 and WinXP Home, all updates. I've got about 7
accounts set up (three of them Yahoo with the Webmail addon) and for
some accounts I created folders (a dump for newsletters) and message
filters. All was fine... until a few days ago.

TB warns me about new messages, there's a little star next to the
account, but when I look... no new messages visible, no bold font or a
number of unread messages between brackets. By coincidence I selected
one of those (nested is the word?) folders and all of sudden I got
several messages, both read and unread. All of a sudden messages even
appear when I select the Drafts, Junk and Trash folder. :-?

AFAIK I haven't changed my View settings. These "hidden" messages
suddenly appear when I select a folder.

Anyone who recognizes this problem and/or knows a solution? It's a PITA
to daily select all my folders, just to be sure there are no "hidden"
messages in it...

Yes, that's what I meant by "message filters". I don't have any
"kill"
filters, only messages to recognize a mail and move it to a certain
folders. Do you think this could be the cause?

I can assume so and the subfolders that contain new msg shoud be bold

I know that and they weren't, /that/ is the problem. Those filters
worked fine and now all of a sudden messages get moved to folders (as
they should be), but nothing bold or (n) unless I select the folder.
Then they just pop up. I'm not planning to daily select every folder I
got hence my question for a solution.
