      If you're trying to view them through Google then yes there is a
reason.  Because of steps being taken to control spam being posted to
this server through Google, posts to this server are currently not
being archived by Google.  I believe the problem is currently being
worked on.

      If your observation/problem doesn't involve Google, please
provide more details.

check your settings on how often you are set to "check for new
messages" 
(Server settings) - less than 5 minutes has caused some problems in the 
past, with very long downloads (images, large files) taking longer that 
the set time-interval and thus getting things crossed over - but that 
shouldn't apply to *these* groups, as there are normally no attachments 
to d/l here (may be different on the multi-media test groups, where 
large images are commonplace)
