Tools-->Account_Settings-->news.ono.com-->Server_Settings.
Check mark "Always request authentication..."

Hi folks.
I have 3 NNTP accounts:
Acoount 1: news.mozilla.org,
Account 2: support-forums.novell.com
Account 3: a subscription news service provider (NTTPS + authentication)
Every account works fine.
Now, I want to setup a new NTTP account for my ISP. In this account
(news.ono.com), I am supposed to login with username/password, as with
account 3. Account 3 works fine, since server respond to the client (TB
2.0.0.12 openSUSE 10.3) with an authentication request and TB shows a
login dialog. But with this new account, there is no login dialog. When
I try to get group list in subscribe dialog, I get an error message
saying "502 Permission Denied - Permission news.ono.com Excluside
access for ONO customers (Twister v2.1.1.371)".
Is there any way to force TB to provide authentication info even if NNTP
server does not request it?

Still not working. No login prompt to connect to this NNTP server.

Same error over here (and (I'm not from Spain).
You may have to send them a mail to include your IP-address in their
allowed range.

Unfortunately, this ISP only provides fixed IP addresses to companies,
so my IP address is dynamic. On the other hand, their customer service
is not trained in technical matters.
