I can't seem to find this. I'm running MySQL 5.0.18 on my NW6.5.4
server. I'm thinking about taking a copy from the Windows version, but
I'm not sure where I should put it or if I should even keep the .ini
file extension. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx! :)

Hi!
I'm a newbie to this, but on my server (NW6.5 sp1)I didn't find any
my.ini file in my sys volume too.
There is the my.cnf file in the ETC folder.
What is the my.ini file for?
TIA
Nanu

Aha! You've answered my question! ^-^ The my.cnf file is for the
Linux/UNIX version of MySQL. The my.ini file is for Windows. (This is
assuming I've read the docs right. ^^) So, if that's the case, then it
would be the my.cnf file that I would have to modify. Thanx much! ^___^

correct, and that you should find in sys:/etc - if one exists.
