| "eDirectory Libraries for C" for linux ?? |

Hi,
There are not 'eDirectory Libraries for C' for linux ??
I have to write my own backup wrapper on eDirectory backup services for
linux. I have downloaded the libraries but it seems that they are only for
netware !!
Is there any way I can achieve my task of writing the wrapper utility on
linux ? Can I write a wrapper to embox tool on linux provided by eDirectory ?

A similar question was recently raised in novell.devsup.general newsgroup,
in thread "OES". No firm answer was given to it though.

These days the preferred method of interfacing with Novell's directory
solutions is LDAP. There are some things that NDAP supports that LDAP
does not but I doubt there are many cases that critically depend on that
functionality. The DClient interfaces (the real NDAP layer, NWDS wraps
