I am looking for the proper name to use when pulling the description field
from edirectory. I looked at the following web page
http://developer.novell.com/ndk/doc/ndslib/index.html?page=/ndk/doc/ndslib/s
chm_enu/data/h4q1mn1i.html, but I can't seem to find the right information.
It looks like from this documentation I should use the name description or
multiLineDescription to get the values. I am using vb6 as the programming
language and the NWDirLib.NWDirCtrl.1 object.
I have successfully pulled attributes doing this before, but I can't seem to
find the right name for this attribute.

have you tried from server console with dsbrowse.nlm?

I actually figured out the problem which seems to be some difference in how
some attributes get pulled. Nevertheless, now that I can pull the values if
I have multiple values in the description as soon as I pull one value the
