.
Create a background gif that is 4-6 pix tall and as wide as you think you will
need (1280 etc).

Make the left xx pixels the color you wish (replace xx with the width of the
left masterborder)

Then tile vertically and you will have a 2 color background with the blue
extending down as far as needed as it is tiled

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Where do I place the .GIF? If I place it in the Cell, I still have to extend
the cell down to the bottom of my longest page which means all the short
pages become long. If I add it as a layout / page background I don't have
(or can't find) options to tile vertically and I would lose my grey
background.

I have uploaded what I have so far so everyone can see....

Many thanks

Hi Gary
I ran into this problem too. In page view add a layout region to your master
border and make its background colour the same colour as your table. Then place

your table on top of it. Press F10 to bring up the master border properties
palette and click add/edit . Click add to create a new master border, based on

your default master border. As your site only has 6 pages you can create a
different master border for each page and adjust the height of the layout
region on each one to whatever you want. You could name them 'homemasterborder'

'faqmasterborder' etc. In site view the properties palette has a drop down menu

that allows you to change which masterborder is assigned to that page. Thats
how i worked around it, if anyone has an easier method i would be interested to

know!

Hi Ant,

Many thanks for that - it is a good work around and has worked a treat,
although I am glad it is only a small site..!

Cheers.
