| NOF9 Menu Limitation? |

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to automatically shift menu items down
a space to allow for a 'fly-out' sub menu above?
My customer has requested a specific menu item layout which causes a fly-out
sub menu to overlap another menu item directly below it.
See this link ref: 'INSTALLATION' on the left menu.

Any help would be appreciated.
Steve.

I'm guessing that you want the flyout to the right not below the hovered
button. Maybe this will help - I did it for another customer this
afternoon - in your case I think you want to set 'open - bottom'...

Hi John, yes I'm familiar with the way it can fly out to the right, in this
case though the text flows over the vertical line and text in the text box
on the right even if I reduce the horizontal off-set to the -30 maximum.
I may need to reduce the size of the button length to make it fit.
I was just wondering if there was an 'automatic button shift' if you know
what I mean! If not, maybe it could be included in a later Fusion version.
Thanks anyway John.

I tried this - gave up it just doesn't want to work that way round!! There
are third party options available.. at a cost..
In the end I stuck with a horizontal main menu and then had the child or sub
menus displayed on the left hand side..
See here for workaround..

It's not as slick or pretty, but does maintain the layout and flow I was
looking for.
