In fusion you can add thin borders around a text box. Any way to add borders
to the layout?

Responding to my own post as it never seemed to get a response from anyone.
.....
Does anyone know how to add thin borders or html to a layout to create
borders?
Using NOF9 latest version. I'm sure my post just got lost in the crowd, but
could really use some assistance on this.
Thanks,

DRAT'S, I was afraid of that, I was hoping for an easy fix... I already used
Layout on top of Layout, but thought a thin black border would polish the
final design up a bit. Thanks so much for the response I was starting to
think I was invisible.
I read the group all the time dating back to 2002 or so. Fortunately most of
the answers to questions are already answered here so I never have to bother
anyone.
Thanks Again!
See you in Cyberspace.

Julie,
The Layout is merged with and Master Borders you use when the page is
generated to form the Body of the page in HTML terms.
So, you can't add a border to the just the Layout area.
You *can* insert a text box containing a Layout Region into the Layout and
add a border to the text box.
Then place your content inside the Layout Region.
The BeyondFusion site uses a top and bottom master border, with text boxes
containing layout regions in each of those. The text boxes have borders
assigned to some of their sides. This method was used back in Fusion 8 and
we've not changed it.
In Fusion 10, you can add a border directly to a Layout Region.
