I don't know if you got this fixed yet, but tech support did give me a
workaround on crashing I got with NOF 8 (see below). The instructions are a
little quirky, but the meaning I get from it is that you need to store the
site folders at the top level of the C drive. It seems like long pathnames
to the site folders cause problems.
I was hoping that later updates to Vista might cure this at some point, but
so far no luck. Has anyone else been seeing unusual operation with Vista?

Fusion 8 was not tested on Windows Vista. Only Fusion 10 was tested on
Vista.
But, please follow these instructions: please navigate to your NetObjects
Fusion 8 folder. There you will find a folder named 'User Sites'. In this
folder
are located folders with all your sites. Please move your User Sites folder
under
this location: C:Users\your_user
