I often use File > Save As "some other name" to backup my nod
files.
Close NOF and reopen the application. The last saved file is usually on top
of the list.

Thanks I'm going to be creating a mirror of the site as I'm creating a
SIMPLE site for two bowling alleys both owned by the same person just
different names.

When creating a site in NOF, as you have found out, it has you name it.
That is your .nod file, or your database for that site. You need not rename
it if you don't have too. NOF looks for that the next time you launch NOF
again. If you renamed it, nof can't find it. If you have to have the nod
you renamed, just go into File>Open Site...then navigate to the file you
renamed. It should be picked up in the list the next time. If not, you can
go into Preferences in Online View...middle right. Hit it and set your
preferences; lock, remove, hierarchy etc.
