abnormal program termination

I can't get NOF8 to open.  I get the following two errors;

WARNING: File Instability
NetObjects Fusion has detected an unstable file and will now recover your 
site.  The time required for this process varies.  If you exit now, 
NetObjects Fusion will recover your file the next time you open the site.

I click OK then get he next error;

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\NetObjects\NetObjects Fusion 8\Fusion.exe
abnormal program termination

I click OK and NOF closes.

Any help recovering my current site would be greatly appreciated.

Does NOF run ok on other sites?

Problem #1- Yes, the application runs ok except when I try to open this
particular nod file.  This means you have a badly corrupted nod file.
Assuming you exported your site to template and have saved it someplace, you
can create a new site from your template.  If you have no template or the
new site is also unstable, I'm afraid it's time to rebuild your site from
scratch.

Problem #2 - No, I can't get NOF to run. Time to uninstall and re-install
NOF. Before doing this, ensure that your site files are backed up to disks.
While you're at it, take this opportunity to do some spring cleaning.  Run
disk clean-up, and other system tools like anti-virus, anti-spyware, defrag,
registry cleaner...
