sounds like what you need is something like SWFTEXT
http://www.antssoft.com/swftext/index.htm
cheap and easy to use these are a couple of sites i've used it on:
http://www.legacyoptions.co.uk and
http://www.lpdr.co.uk
(PS, I'm a beginner as well, so it must be easy)

If SWFTEXT doesn't do what you need, there are other cheap and easy
flash text apps that may. For example, I've used FlaX from goldshell
(http://www.goldshell.com/flax/main.htm) and Text-Osterone
(http://www.verticalmoon.com/products/textosterone/textosterone.htm) to
good effect.
KoolMoves has a lite version called FlashyEffects (www.koolmoves.com).
I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple of freebies out there, too.
The best thing to do is try a few before buying, and see which one works
best for you.
