| Remote Transfer Results --- error |

I have put pdf files in my websites and have the pdfs open up in popup
windows.
It works great for me.
The problem is that when I input the pdf files to the webpage I add them
from my desktop.
After I have updated the website and it is working fine, I delete the pdfs
from my desktop.
Days later I update the website again on unrelated items.
I get an error that the pdf files are not on my desktop for NOF to add.
How can I change the configuration or work around the issue of error
messages.
The error message shows up after I publish the changes to the website.
It shows as indicated below.....
"Remote Transfer Results"
the file C:\Documents and Settings\E
Brown\Desktop\TheMedicineChase_newsletter.pdf could not be opened. Please
check that the file exists as named.

This is expected behavior.
Either stop deleting the pdf files (perhaps keep them in your assets folder
instaed of your desktop) or use a standalone ftp program to place them on
the web server.
Fusion is just doing part of its job. Tracking the files uploaded with it.

I find it easier to upload media files to server using standalone ftp
software (Cute, Ws_ftp pro or others). Then use external links to the Pdf
files on remote server. This has the advantage of taking pdf files away
from NOF's assets management. So when you update your site, NOF won't go
looking for those files to republish them each time.
