Best to use a font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif (example).
That way if the end user doesn't have Arial on their system (believe it or
not, some people don't) then the browser will go to the next font option
until it finds a winner.

I use Arial as my default font for all my sites, but now, for some
inexplicable reason, NOF has decided to publish in Times New Roman, which of
course screws up my pageination. I can't find any place which controls this.
Any ideas please?

Roger,

Without a URL to look at it is hard to say, but take a look at the source
view of your page after it is published.

What you may find is that you have a font change sitting in the document
(around a space) and that is invisible to you in the designer - but is
kicking in after the publish.

Try selecting ALL of the text in the box and clearing the formatting. IIRC
you may be able to double-click the box to go into edit mode, then use
CTRL+A to get it all before you clear.

Just a thought...

Charles

Hi Roger,

Are you using Frames?

Your site has NO CSS file linked to it at all and there are no active font
tags anywhere in the source as far as I can see.

As a result - you get Times Roman (the browser default font).

On your own machine you may see different if you have your browser defaults
changed - or it could be seeing the css there I guess.

But that is what is happening AFAIKT

;-)
