newsletter in NOF

newsletter in NOF
Sat, 8 Mar 2008 17:15:20 -0000
Thought I'd use Serif's WebPlus (came with Webfusion hosting package) to do
an email newsletter and spent quite a while getting it like I wanted - well
a start anyway - then discovered it doesn't work! (big problems that Serif
haven't fixed yet)

So, thinking again - need to copy the html to put into Romancart to send out
marketing emails. How do I do it in NOF? do I simply choose say 700 pxs
width, centre it, put what I want on the page and local publish, copy the
html and paste into romancart? Sounds too simple....

Any advice very greatly appreciated - really need to get this newsletter
out - been on my 'to do' list for ages.

Will start having a go anyway but trying to avoid going down the wrong track
again. Don't think I can save file in Serif as html but will try. Save as
options are serif's own files wpp and 'all files'

Thanks in anticipation

Lorraine

Export your website to a folder on your hard disk instead of the web - then
at least you'll have the html pages to play with.
But it's anyones guess whether they will import into NOF properly - Webplus
produces css based pages.

Thanks. I'll have a go anyway. Not holding out much hope. I tried again to
send from Serif and it worked but not sure how it appears in the recipients
inbox. Tried several sends and some were o.k. apart from the virus checked
message appearing in the wrong place! others - it was all broken up. Might
have to resort to simple emails...
