Saving as a template??

Saving as a template??
Wed, 12 Mar 2008 17:17:27 -040
I want to transfer a site from one computer to a new one, so I save as a
template then import into the other machine. I'm in real-estate and I have
all my house pictures in individual asset folders, so when (more like if
nowadays) I sell one, I can then delete the whole asset file. Trouble is:
when I open the template in the new machine all the assets are in one big
file. Am I not saving it right or what?

I'm guessing a bit, but maybe you are not cleaning up the file first. I
periodically, especially after deleting something, go to the "preview"
folder
of my site file in Program files/NOF and delete everything "(ctrl A)
delete".
I also delete everything in my published folder. Then republish and you will
get a clean file.
You should also periodically clean out your server. I do this on a Sunday
morning or something, deleting everything and uploading again with just the
clean stuff.
