The BF forums were recently migrated to phpBB 3.0.1 from phpBB 2.0.x.

For access info, go to: http://www.beyondfusion.com/html/forums.php

Drop in sometime. (-;

Why do you have a web page directing users to another link, but instruct
users to type the address in rather than live link it? Any why not just
post the correct link here? Why would anyone make it harder for users to
get to their website?

As it says on the page.... it's a device to reduce spambot registrations.

Anyone interested in the forums should have no problem typing in the
address.

Chuck,

Sorry for the rant - easy navigation is my pet peeve. Have you thought of
doing Captcha?

Carol,

FYI: Thanks for your concern, but this isn't my first rodeo. (-;

The phpBB board includes CAPTCHA during registration. Which is besides the
point.

I only want seriously interested people to visit the forums. And I don't
think typing in the URL once and bookmarking it is really that traumatic.

Hence the added layer of "no links that can be found by spam bots".
I'm sure
it'll get out soon enough anyway.

Eventually, the board will be behind a membership login and the Forums
button removed from navigation altogether.

Not every message board I do is treated this way. In this case, it's the way
I want it.
