Do you have the Flash player plug-in enabled for your browser?
Can you show us a URL with the player on it?

I have tried using various FLV players.
Do Netfusion recommend one?
I have placed them in the various pages and added the code etc, all to no
avail. I have checked the mime set up on my server and that is also ok
This is very frustrating.
Kind regrads

There is no problem inserting an flv into an NOF page. You "don't" use
the
NOF's Flash plugin to insert it. Use the JW streaming player--it's one of
the best players available, very efficient, fully supported, with complete
instructions and tutorials on its use, and it's free! --
http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Media_Player.
All you have to do is create a text box where you want to place the player
on the page. Then insert the player's html code into the test box. JW's
instructions/tutorial will show you exactly how to configure the player and
what you need and where to upload to your site. If you just take the short
amount of time to follow the instructions--oila--you'll have a streaming
player that will handle any size flv you feed it. There is also a
comprehensive forum to pick up tips and and ask for any help.
This is the best I've ever seen.

The problem is that the Real player browser plugin for browsers is not
anywhere near the ubiquitous use of the Adobe Flash pulgin which on last
count was present in more than 90% of Windows/Mac/Firefox browsers
worldwide. That's why it's much safer to stream an flv in an swf
environment. You Tube is an flv player that uses the flash environment.
Besides, the inserted flv player gives full control over the playback just
like in You Tube.
