| Problem with Netscape Home Page |

This is kind of hard to explain, but on the Netscape Home Page
(www.netscape.com), I see a very quick popup appear and then disappear.
For instance, when the ad on the top right of the page changes, an image
of it flashes very quiickly on the top left of the page and then
disappears.
The same thing happens when the Netscape Tracker updates. Also when the
page cycles through the tabbed articles at the top, the same thing
happens. I have verified that this happens on 2 different computers at
my house, both running NS 7.2 on XP. I tried the page with IE 6, and the
problem does not occur.

sorry, but I can't reproduce the problem. Can you do a screen capture
and post it to http://imageshack.us

"A known issue" -- what makes you say that? What proof have you?

Net 8 is not an upgrade from 7.2. Net 8 is a browser only, while 7.2
has a browser, an emai/new, chat, and a few other things.
If you're looking for an upgrade to 7.2, I would suggest SeaMonkey
1.0.7. SM and Net are kissing cousins and they come from basically the
same coding: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/

No, it flashes too fast, I've tried it buy can't capture it.
Apparently this is a known issue with NS 7.2. Netscape's answer is to
upgrade to 8.
Thanks.
