Netware 6.5 SP5 USB 2.0 Issues

Hello All,
I have a Netware 6.5 Box at Support Pack 5 trying to backup to a Lacie
250GB external drive.  There is a generic Adaptec card to that can handle 3
USB 2.0 connections and 2 Firewire.  The server sees and can write to the
Lacie drive, BUT it takes roughly 17 hours to backup 72GB...which is pretty
slow.  Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any ideas?  I would
greatly appreciate any input.
