I wouldn't really talk about a Brainshare wiki, but rather it's just a
Brainshare wiki page on the Novell wiki. The purpose of the page is shown
int he introduction line:
"Add your picture site or your BrainShare blog or anything else worthwhile
to this page."
In essence, this page is just a place to collect useful links regarding
Brainshare.
Of course, as this is a wiki, people are free to expand the scope of the
Brainshare pages, as long as people keep in mind that it should remain a
place collecting useful information for users and should not become a pace
for people to complain about not having enough sessions about product X at
Brainshare.
BTW it might have been an unfortunate choice to call the page you started
"Purpose". After all, this is a global Novell wiki and not just about
Brainshare. So a glocal "Purpose" page would rather be a page
explaining
the purpose of the Novell wiki, and not the purpose of the specific
Brainshare page on the Novell wiki.

You are so right, I forgot about that
I renamed it to BrainShare wiki Purpose
and that was after I couldn't find a way to just delete it after the other
tuning to the original purpose line.
There is certainly a learning curve on the whole wiki thing and this sure is
a place for some of us to get up to speed.
I can see the BrainShare part of the Novell wiki being a good place where we
can distill/collect some of the good knowledge that flows through this forum
on surviving/enjoying BrainShare so that we can all get the most out of this
conference. That will be what drives my contributions at this time.
I can see these wiki pages getting heavily edited as BrainShare 2007 gets
closer.
