| Preparing for 50-677 |

I've been through the 50-hour course from "TestOut", which includes
simulators, practice tests/questions (non-adaptive) and study guides...Ive
gotten to the point where I understand the concepts, and can answer the practice
questions with over 90% (though, that may be in a result of memorizing the
wording of some of the questions themselves).
At any rate, I've looked at some other practice tests and have scored fairly
well on them as well. After looking through the threads here, I am just curious
as to whether I might be missing any obscure information (such as the
Rehabilitation Act for the 50-686 taker "Shug") that I should know?
Thanks in advance!
Preston

They are pretty much the same exam......though the nw 6.5 focuses in on
imanager more. you will most likely get a lot of consoleone questions....
did you go over the additional information. unfortunately that course had
things like the server installation, GroupWise things that were all part of
the self study and not covered in the standard class. Hopefully your
Testout system covered those things...there were 10 sections not covered n
the course but were appendixes that you had to study as you could get a
question.,

Testout has some groupwise stuff - like postoffices, some of the folder
structure, POA, etc.
At any rate, I've attached the sort of 'stuff' they go over so you can take a
good look and see if it 'appeaers' to be thorough. Most sections have about
8-15 minutes of instructor video, then a few demonstrations, then some
simulations, and facts like the page I highlighted, then a test.
Thanks,
Preston

Oh, I should also mention:
I've worked in a Netware 5.1 sp6 environment for the last 2 years. The last 6
months or so we have been upgrading to Netware 6.5 OES, so we're mixed at the
moment.
I built a 6.5 server using the resouces from the 3016 course materials from my
work (I couldnt attend the instructor led training...so I found the TestOut
software in a back of a book one my friends had, which is why I chose 50-677
instead of 686)

Preston
