So I've passed my CNA. Hurrah!!

Am thinking about following this up with the Network Management, then
Advanced Network Management courses, for which I plan on using the Novell
Self Study kits, which I used for CNA and was very good.

Do I get any concessions on purchasing these from Novell now that I am a
CNA?

Also, most of the servers in our org are NW6, but we have a recently added
a NW6.5 server. Is there much difference in the material from 6 to 6.5? I
may go for the 6.5 study kits instead?

Cheers,

Congratulations.

Correct. These are the best training kits you can acquire.

No! Not even if you are a CNE.
However, :
a) If you attend Brainshare, they sell overthere at 20-30% discount.
b) Try through an NUI group or a Partner, and you may get a discount.
c) Try purchasing used copies at eBay.

Not much difference. NW 6.5 has more services and mainly iManager replaces
ConsoleOne in the task objectives.
Would say, NW 6.5 is much more current than NW 6, so I would recommend
studying it.

Hi Simon,

I have the following items for sale, please refer to the email below
which I posted in Chat forum a while ago. I already sold the ZfD course
but the others are still available. For you, courses 3001 & 3004 are
suitable for the NW6 exams. Of course they do not cover the new stuff in
NW6.5 but the CNE6 makes no distinction whether you took the 6.0 or 6.5
exams. I would like to cover shipping plus something on top. Shipping
from HK via air courier for one box was about US$30, so I guess 2 boxes
would be about double. email me (address is below) if you are interested.

As new - never used - genuine, with boxes, manuals, CDs.

3001 - Foundations of Novell Networking (based on NetWare 6.0)
3004 - Novell Network Management (also NetWare 6.0)
SOLD - 3006 - Desktop Management with ZfD 4
3015 - Novell Services for Linux (i.e. NNLS)

I would like these to go to a good home and any reasonable offer
considered. It's unlikely I will be looking at them as I already passed
CNE. I would be shipping them from HK so I will need to pay at least
some freight charge.

I have a Paypal account so I can accept that form of payment.

Thanks for your interest

Kindly note that 3015 (NNLS) is irrelevant to CNE studies or to anything.
NNLS is an obsolete product for almost 2 years by now.
I doubt if anyone will purchase it.

Thanks for the info chaps. Graham, I've dropped you an email..

Zvika thanks for your reply as well, it is appreciated. I may go for the
Network Management for NW6, and then update to 6.5 next year when Novell
have retired NW6.

Cheers again,
