Is there a place to complain about the CNA exam? I would expect it is
here eh? hahaha. I bought the home study kit and the self test software
and continuosly achieve marks in the high 80's but when I write my exam, I
end up with 74.8 (less than 1% from a pass or so). I have achieved the
same (EXACT same) mark on my CNA exam twice now…I'm really frustrated with
this…I was hoping to save money by doing the home study kit but it is
soooo vague in what to actually study for…I should have gone to a school
and put out the $3000.00 for the course…My real question is this...If I
found an error on the exam, will that get me the extra mark to pass the
exam? I really do know there is a mistake on it…It's a typo, but it's

Did you get the official Novell self study kit? The test is based on
the official class book.
If in the US you could try calling 1-800-233-EDUC and let them know
about the typo.

if that one is a new error nobody reported than it could save you..
otherwise they don't really count it IIRC..
did you do an adaptive test with 16 question or the normal one with 60?
If it was adaptive the % is a statiscal number.. not the real result.
Otherwise the official home study kit should normally cover the material,
as it is the same like the material being used in the official clases.
Unfortunatly I have learned that the test's sometimes NITpick on a specific
wording on a subject, so it is easy to choose the wrong one..

Is there a number for in Canada? The error is in the results area that
indicates what areas I failed at, just a typo, nothing technical but it's
worth a try eh? hahaha.

It was the 68 question regular test. A lot of stuff on there that wasn't
very clear in the books I received or in the self study kit (??). I am
enrolled for MCSE right now and my teacher is Master CNE and CNI or all
that stuff plus so much more…He told me they used to teach the CNA course
at the school I'm at now but phased it out and that the CNA was one of the
easiest exams to write if you were class trained but self study books are
so vague and are filled with a lot of "fluff" so it's a hard process
to
weed out the B.S. from the stuff you really need to know. I know three
areas I have to improve on, so hopefully I'll get them down for the next
rewrite, but not being in the industry yet is kinda hard and especially
when you can't setup an NDPS printer at home (who can but a rich person
eh? Haha) etc. etc. Anyway, I guess I'll just try again. I want the CNA
because the place I work now uses Novell and wants their IT people to have
that to start with, so...Another thing that kind of ticked me off was that
the book had a ton of misprinted text balloons in it. The text was all
shifted so you couldn't even read it. Maybe I should ask fo a refund or
something, who knows…I'm not very happy with Novell not just because of
the exams (that's my own fault for not knowing it obviously but 1% twice!
Man…) but because of the clarity of their text and the typos gallore…I'm
not a perfect typer or whatever but I would have thought these things
