Anyone used TestKing?

Anyone used TestKing?
Tue, 26 Jun 2007 15:15:41 GMT
I'm currently trying to motivate myself to get my CNE6 certification. I
just wondered if anyone had used TestKing
(http://www.testking.com/certification-training-Novell.htm) as an exam
prep?

If so, are these a good source of exam prep?

I've used Exam Essentials in the past but I see that they are no longer in
business..

Thanks for any help/advice.

Well, considering that it's essentially a "braindump", ask yourself
this
question: If you have kids, if one of them purchased the test answers
from someone who stole them from the teacher, how would you feel about it?

I personally don't consider anyone who uses braindumps to be particularly
ethical or trustworthy, and for people who work in IT, both of these are
desirable traits (ie, ethical and trustworthy). Cheating the system
doesn't help anyone.

Study the material, do the exercises, and actually learn what's in the
courses rather than just learning the answers to the questions.

Yes I agree about the buy the answers piece, not only is it unethical,
but reduces the value of a certification (I have quite a few I have
worked hard to get, and want the applicable credit).

That said, a good test sim (simalar, but not exact) is a study aide
that can really help.

Thanks for your replies.

And, for what it's worth - I agree with you. I am studying as well, I just
want to get a 'feel' for the exam itself rather than getting copies of the
answers. I wasn't aware that TestKing was essentially a braindump. Perhaps
I'll look elsewhere...

The CNE Quizzer used to be the one to get. Unfortunately they are
gone.

I liked the way they asked you the question, then told you why the
right answer is right, and where in the official class book it is
found. Where they pounded you in the book the test also did.
