Took and passed, but it was veery close :)
Maybe it's just an impression, but I did find it harder
than the CLP 9 practicum.
Some things about the exam:
-tab now works, no need for Ctrl-I
-try to avoid as much as possible YaST, even text-based; there were some
objectives
that apparently could have been accomplished using YaST, but I found
them to be nothing
but traps
-I had four objectives (just like in CLP9): 3 of them were very explicit
(they were even giving you
"tips" so that to make sure you're following an exact succession of
steps)
-one of them was from a whole different picture: each task was tricky
and they weren't giving
you any clues (like "edit that particular file"); it was the first
objective, and the others were depending
on it; it took me 1.5 hours, so I ran out of time and couldn't complete
the scripting objective (fourth one),
which had 10 tasks
-all in all it was a difficult exam, but a natural step forward from
CLP9 practicum; well done Novell
The closest thing to the exam type I could find is the Section 9 from
the 3073 course (Prepare for CLP Practicum).
Good luck everyone!
