| If you fail and think you passed...... |

...email practicum@novell.com and ask for someone to give you more details
on what you did wrong.
I was confident I passed the exam when clicking DONE but it came back with
a FAILED. I emailed the address above explaining that I was 95% sure I
passed and asked for a human to look over my exam and give me an idea of
what I did wrong.
It came down to me making a typo. In the script I was told to write I
needed to output several files with the name 'foo' and append some extra
information to the end of the filename which I won't discuss due to the
CLP confidentiality agreement. Apparently I called the file 'fooo' instead
of 'foo', so when the script ran to see if I passed it didn't see my files
out there and didn't give me credit for that section of the exam which
caused me to fail. The guy who looked over my exam said it was evident I
knew what I was doing and changed my FAILED to a PASSED. Of course, he
could have said I failed because I didn't name the output files correctly,
but fortunatley he was kind enough to see the bigger picture.
So, if you come out of the exam stumped as to why you failed, it wouldn't
hurt to email them and have a human look over it. Don't waste the
peoples time emailing them asking what you got wrong if you just failed
it, but, if you are puzzled as to why you failed it, this is an avenue
that worked for me.
Good Luck..
