Running Ldap service on the local interface only

Running Ldap service on the local interface only

This is not really a development question but since I did not know where
to post it I though developers in this thread might know the answer to
this simple question. You can redirect me to the right place too if you
know the right thread.

I want to be able to load ldap service (nldap.nlm) on a Netware 6.5 SP4
and bind it to local (127.0.0.1) interface only. By default ldap service
binds to all address on the box (0.0.0.0) but that is not the desired
solution for number of reasons which I am not going to go into. Any
thoughts will be welcomed.

Hi

Please see
https://secure-support.novell.com/docs/Tids/Solutions/10097785.html

NLDAP binds to all available interfaces - (Novell eDirectory 8.8 has been
modified to configure NLDAP to listen only on a particular interface)

Thank you
Susan
