DLL Developer Kit on 6.5

DLL Developer Kit on 6.5
Tue, 22 Aug 2006 04:02:02 GMT
Hi All,

I would like to know if it is possibel to use the DLL developer kit on
Novell 6.5.

I tried loading peldr.nlm but it came up with 'Module initialization
failed '
I would have thought this should be compatible after v5.

Cheers

The DLL solution involved the low level remapping of the DLL file
as it was loaded so that it correctly conformed with the structure
expected by NW. As the development of the DLL stopped, the
changes needed to peldr.nlm also stopped.

I could be totally off base, but since the NLM structure hasn't change,
shouldn't the old DLL structure still work as well? Unless, of course,
there is some low level background process that remaps NLM structures?
