I have look at the documentation for Ichain. The problem is that I have
user that have different username to multiple internet site and how does
ichain help me manage it. For instance. I have teacher using their email
to login to californiastreaming and they use their teacher id to login

sang,
Oh sorry, I focused to much on the portal bit in your question.
iChain provides both the portal and single sign-on parts.
However, I do understand your problem and perhaps Novell Secure Login
is what you need. It doesn't provide any portal stuff though.
This is what was previously known as the Novell Single Sign-On product,
thought it is now enhanced with more functionality.
With Secure Login installed on the workstations, users are asked to store
their credentials in a Secret Store, first time the visit a system, web
site etc. that requires authentication. Once they've provided the
credentials these are stored in the secret store, and will automatically
be used whenever the user visits the system, web site, app etc. again.
