Desktop restrictions

Ok i'm new to this novell system but i have some knowledge....my issue
starts with 3 identical computers suppossedly imaged at the same time with
the same desktop restrictions...so after turning on these machines i
logged in with a username that should get the NAL and destop i think (my
predecessor didn't have good documentation) 1 machine shows the NAL and
desktop while the other 2 machines are locked to the NAL only even logging
in as the administrator lock me into a NAL i'm dumbfounded lol...the only
reason i need the desktop is to access these cousolor's forms which are on
a network drive X: i have unsuccessfully attempted to find a way to put a
mapping to the X drive in the NAL.....so please help me some
how?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

thanks,

OK, so it looks like there's some User or Workstation policies
that locks down the system and sets NAL as the Shell.
You say this also happens if you login as Admin, so either Admin
uses the same policies as the users or don't use any policies at all.

Normally one creates a policy that lock things down for the users and
another policy that unlock for the Admins. Remember a policy that is
applied remains in effect even after a logout and until a new policy is
applied or one changes the setting smanually.

You say you need to access a certain drive, couldn't you just add a new
Application package to NAL that just launches Windows Explorer, for the
users to use to get to the X: drive?
