| Zenworks configuration possible? |

Our IT Mgr says it's not possible; our principals hope someone out there
can say, "Yes it is. We've done it here." Here's the question:
"Can Zenworks set up grade level access to certain programs? For example
if a 5th grade signs in there would be certain programs showing up vs. a
8th grade's programs."
Has anyone out there tried this?
Many thanks :)

Sure it can be done, depending on how you set it up. One way of doing it
could be to create separate OUs containing only users of a particular
grade. For instance a setup could look something like this;
OU=Students
OU=1st-Grade
OU=Class1
OU=Class2
OU=2nd-Grade
OU=Class3
OU=Class4
OU=3rd-Grade
OU=Class5
OU=Class6
You can then associate the apps with the separate Grade OU, plus that
you can also have separate apps associated with just a few classes. Just
be sure to setup the inheritance level in Application Launcher
appropriately.
You could also do the above by using groups instead of OUs, should your
current design not allow the use of OUs for this.
