Time to Abandon Novell

I have heard rumors that Novell management has decided to abandon SBS 
users with the current software offerings in both the netware and linux 
SBS product offerings. Can I get some confirmation, that this is the end 
of the line.  I purchased upgrade protection, but I guess if they change 
the name to "Workgroup Suite"  there is no upgrade path. I have been a

loyal user since Netware 2.0, but I guess if Novell is going to abandon 
me, it is time to abandon them! Great products,  I guess they have been 
deluded by the make $1,000's on 1000's of sales rather than $100 on 
1000000's of sales bean-counter mantra. It has been a great ride, I hope 

I am not sure regarding the upgrade protection path, I am hoping to 
hear that for those with current upgrade protection, they will be 
supported with the Workgroup Suite.

I am not sure regarding the handling of upgrades from older versions of 
SBS to new products (ie Linux based products).

It does seem to me that for NetWare -- SBS 6.6 is the end of the line 
there.

It WOULD be nice to have a formal statement from Novell regarding their 
plans to respond to the SIGNIFICANT small business -- market segment.  
Novell has been worryingly quiet on this since last fall.
