Clear DayQuite frankly, after viewing several of your picture posts of Indian
cents here recently, I must recommend that you attend even a small coin show,
seek out as many dealers as you can who have higher-grade Indian cents for sale,
both circulated and uncirculated, and learn what an unmolested example looks
like, and do this before you even consider spending any of your money on coins.
I had accomplished this by the age of twelve, and so can you. By the way, this
won't happen by reading books or by looking at online pictures - you must have
the coins in hand, and view them from multiple angles in good light. Even
better is to take a knowledgeable and experienced friend with you. In the
meantime, assuming that the picture this time is an accurate representation of
the coin, there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that the coin has been
monkeyed with, and rather harshly. This does not mean that the coin is
uncollectible, but if I interpret your words correctly, finding a virgin coin is
a high priority for you. Once you see a few, you will know the "look"
for the rest of your life.

Your questions do not bug me. I am incapable of reading your mind, so I did
the best I could with the information you provided. I gave you my honest
opinion, based on my own experience. I am not anti-eBay. I am not an
expert. I'm sorry to learn that you had an accident and are disabled. My
advice was offered in the spirit of education, which was my life's work.
Whether to accept it or reject it is entirely your call.

Do my question bug you? I was not interested in buying this thing, just
testing myself. That's 90% of what my questions here are about.
Almost everyone over at fleabay has their own photo techniques to make
their coins look better. This sometimes leads to confusion. This group
