Posted in November.
Just tried, still junk. Forget ODMA with GroupWise. It says its
supposed to work but I get nothing but the same damn errors we've
had over and over. What a pain.
Would really love to hear if anyone has been able to make this
work.
cheers

Basically when I try to create a new document, the wizard comes up
I fill in the properties then I get various errors. I'll give it a
whirl later today and post back all the errors. I've posted in
this forum before for the previous version with no way to
resolve.

Not sure if you are still there but I'm back. First if you open oo2 then
do a "save as" it does let you save a document into the library. Just
don't try to open or create a document from GroupWise in anyway shape
or form. The document properties wizard displays, lets you fill it all
out then promptely opens the document only to "freeze" to a degree the
file menu with error upon error. "Cannot save document",
"document not
found", document is checked out or otherwise not available".
The fact that you cannot use the GroupWise new document button renders
all the templates you may have created useless.
There is some very basic functionality, in that if I start a new blank
document in Open Office then "save as", I can save it to GroupWise and
it does work without errors. I must open the document from Open Office
to further edit or use, but that is about it.
Is anyone over there still working on this? I have customers would
utilize DM and if we can't get some functionality to open office in
this regard soon we'll have no choice but to move to another DM system
and likely another email system all together.
