| online updater not working |

do i have to buy it for the novell openoffice for windows to get the
online or manul updater to work? i have used the version from sun
before but it does not have .docx support for windows. i switch to
novell's version becuse i needed the .docx support at the time. in the
help it says it should be their but it is not there under tools opions
or the help tab either.
