Drag and drop of text

I'm using OO204GA but I can't drag and drop text with the mouse in 
OfficeWriter. The mouse is a Logitech Marble Mouse (2 buttons). As far as 
I remember there was the same with the previous Version of OO. Is there 
any piece of sofrware missing on my system (eCS 1.2) or is this a real bug?

I, too, cannot drag text in OpenOffice 2.0.4 under ECS 1.2.  This is true 
for both the Writer and the Calc programs.

But in Version 1.1.5 drag and drop worked OK.

program in OpenOffice 2.0.4 under eCS 1.2.

Drag and drop did work for me in OpenOffice 1.1.5.

I haven't noticed that, but you're absolutely right. It doesn't work. This 
is really an important function, especially when you write a lot. I've 
seen the subject in the forum before regarding previous releases as you 
say. Can't see anything mentioned about it in the release notes. Have they 
just forgotten that?
