I can not confirm it. I just copied the å, ä, ö characters from your
message and pasted them into a Writer document, a Draw document, and an
Impress document. The only strange thing that I saw was that in Draw the
first a had a line over it instead of a circle. I'm using 2.0.4.

Just noticed that when pasting å, ä, ö characters from Text document to
other applications (Draw, Impress, Spreadsheet..)they are replaced with a
",," sign. Crazy, why..Pasting from eg Draw to Text document,
Spreadsheet
etc works all right. This was a problem with the odinized version of OO
but not internally in the suite.
Can someone confirm that?

Thanks a lot for your info! I can't imagine why it is so. I opened a
support ticket and will see what they say.

I don't think that's possible.
I just copied this string of characters: º¶ª€«öäúüù into a Text document,
then copied it from there to a Draw document and all came out perfectly,
then I tried copying the very same string into a Spreadsheet, and this
is what I got: §ô¦Õ®£ However, I successfully copied these
characters from the Spreadsheet to here successfully. That could not
be a code page problem.

This behaviour is an a result of using a different code page for OOo that
for the document from which you are pasting.
