Subject says it all - looking forward to it already for a long time now...

Yes, and by now we "need" 2.3.0 because of the TIFF security problem
which I guess is present in the OS/2 version, too.

Hm. Good point. But honestly I doubt one would invest time and effort into
using the security problem on OS/2 / eCS. I would guess that most of the
exploits would use some constants that are not applicable to eCS (like
storage location of valuable information in the system).
So I rather vote for a well done version 2.0.x than a version 2.3 that 'just
compiles' and has no drag and drop, printing prolems, let alone any
'advanced' WPS integration features. Just my .02 CAD (that is way above par
with USD at the moment ;o)
Cheers

Has the File Open dialog been fixed yet?
Last time I tried OO2 OS/2 any time I wanted to open a file on another
drive the app went into a drive reading frenzy - it was obviously
looking at all drives several times over.

No. I only have one physical drive at the moment, with several
partitions. It takes several seconds for it to present the list in the
dialog box. It did seem to take longer when there were two physical
drives with the same number of partitions. Those were UW SCSI, while the
current one is a SATA2.
I consider this a relatively minor nuisance.
